The bluebells and the wild garlic in May are in their peak blooming period, so take a gentle walk in the Nuttery and you will come accross a sea of blue and white flowers.
Always check for any changes in our opening times before visiting The Garth.
Bring your kids to explore the magic fairy and animal trails.
Beautiful displays of azaleas and rhododendrons in the first half of June. Tea and cakes available.
Tickets are £8 per person and kids half price. HH members are free on Historic Houses open days.
Christmas Special 17 December 2023 (NGS Day)
Beautifully decorated the grounds at the Garth, welcoming twinkling festive trees celebrating Christmas. Great for families to explore fairy and animal trails and sample delicious home made fastive tea and cakes in our cafe. As dusk falls the gardens become enchanting with magical lights and fairy characters. On some days we have a pleasure of visits from Farther Christmas (tbc). The tickets are £10 per person and £5 for kids. Our Christmas Special is on 17 December (1-4.30pm).
